We are pleased that you will be joining us on the property and have shared some guidelines to help you enjoy your time here. It is our goal to make your experience as memorable as possible and if there is anything you may need from us, please do not hesitate to ask.
Valet
Complimentary Valet is available. Please pull up to Valet and let the attendant know which member you are meeting and in which area. A valet attendant will guide you to the appropriate meeting point.
Bag Drop at Valet
Upon arrival at Desert Highlands, please follow the signs to the bag drop which is located at the Valet. Our staff will collect your golf bags, shoes, and any other personal items that you may require during your visit and we would be happy to Valet your car for you complimentary. Once your golf bag has been tagged with our custom bag tag, you will be directed to the Golf Shop or Locker Room based on your preference.
Locker Room
As a guest, we can provide you with a secure day locker where we encourage you to change your shoes and take advantage of our shoe room service. Your personal belongings can be stored safely in one of our lockers.
Dress Code
Proper “Country Club” golf attire is required for all Members and Guests playing golf or utilizing the practice facilities.
Men
Golf pants or shorts. Shirts (tucked in) with collars, turtlenecks and mock necks. Sweaters/outerwear attire with a collared shirt underneath. Hats, visors and caps are worn in a conventional manner. Shirts without collars (except for turtlenecks/mock necks); T-shirts, tank tops, cutoffs, sweatpants, blue jeans; Baggy/low-riding shorts or slacks, and athletic wear are not permitted.
Women
Collared shirts with sleeves or sleeveless. Shirts with collars and/or mock necks, sleeves, and/or sleeveless. Crew neck shirts w/sleeves. Golf shorts/skorts no shorter than mid-length. Golf slacks, pants, skirts (no blue jeans). Sweaters/outerwear attire, turtlenecks. Jogging, cycling and tennis attire; Athletic tee shirts, tank or halter tops or backless shirts (racerback); Blue jeans, blue jean skirts, shorts, leggings, dresses or jackets are not permitted.
Pace of Play
An un-delayed round is an important tradition at Desert Highlands where we believe that 4 hours and 10 minutes is sufficient time to play a round. Whenever a group shall, for any reason, fall more than one clear hole behind the players ahead, it is expected to invite the following group to play through.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are permitted on property, but must be on vibrate or mute at all times on both the golf course and in the Clubhouse. Phone conversations, except for medical emergencies, are confined to designated areas within the clubhouse. Text messaging and emailing are permitted so long as it does not affect the pace of play.
Tipping Policy
Desert Highlands is a no-tipping club. Please refrain from tipping, including valet, outside service staff, and food & beverage staff.
No Smoking
Desert Highlands is a smoke-free facility, indoors and within 20 feet of any door to the clubhouse.
