Golf Events & Leagues 

In addition to our Men's Day on Tuesdays and our Ladies Day on Thursdays, golfers can also participate in our Ladies Desert Foothills, Ladies Mountain Team or Men's Interclub leagues.   Desert Highlands hosts a wide variety of golf events throughout the year.  Our annual signature Member/Guest events, the Ladies Hoe Down in March and Men's Highland Fling in April, are fun filled days of golf, camaraderie and fabulous food.  Other traditions include Homecoming, Club Championships, Valentine's Day Couples Classic, Member/Member events, Team Draw, Couples Choose Ups and the Happy Highlander.

Desert Highlands is pleased to be chosen as the sight for Golf Fore Africa, Founded by Solheim Cup Team Captain Betsy King.  The organization is dedicated to raising awareness and financial contributions to benefit AIDS Orphans and other vulnerable children in Africa.  At this exclusive annual event, six LPGA players demonstrate all aspects of the golf game in a 90 minute golf clinic/exhibition for men and women.
