Providing peace of mind to our members is priority one.  Our state of the art security system, professionally trained security personnel, combine to make the Desert Highlands experience safe and comforting.   Our fully trained staff of security professionals provides 24-hour monitoring of access to the property to ensure the safety and serenity of you, your loved ones, and your lifestyle.

Access and Monitoring
Electronic access to Desert Highlands is obtained by installing a transponder on your vehicle.  Vendors and guests must have prior authorization from members registered with the Security Center.

Monitoring systems ensure that a high level of assurance and comfort is afforded the members.  The Security Center is the nerve center for the security staff and Desert Highlands.  Desert Highlands residential burglar and fire alarms are processed in the Security Center.  Cameras from all over Desert Highlands are monitored and recorded in the Security Center.  Top of the line access control equipment monitors traffic and alarm monitoring technology allows us to dispatch a patrol to a residential alarm in three minutes or less.

Staff
Trained staff specializing in security ensure that Desert Highlands members can rest assured that their community is being protected by the best available resources.  Desert Highlands Security Department is an in-house organization.  The staff consists of 15 highly trained security officers who operate the department 24 hours per day,  7 days a week.  It is the only department at Desert Highlands that never sleeps.
